Painters have long loved the light of the Mediterranean – think of Cézanne and Chagall, Braque and Bonnard, Matisse and Picasso. Photographers, too. The light imbues something almost painterly to photographs. These were all taken on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. The first set was taken from the island of MlJet, mostly as dusk falls. The second is of Dubrovnik at night.
